Cone 6: Aurora Green produces a mottled aqua gloss glaze with light brown and large black crystals. As the crystals melt, bursts of blue and brown will develop.

Cone 10: Color changes to a variegated pink/blue/green. Crystals become less pronounced.

TIP: SW-108 Green Tea is the base glaze. For a lighter crystal effect, you may try applying two coats of SW-108 Green Tea with a third coat of SW-146 Aurora Green. Due to the large sized crystals in Aurora Green they often reside in the bottom of the glaze; be sure to stir well or pour the glaze out onto a plate to make them more accessible. — Quick view

Cone 6 oxidation: Fool’s Gold is a gloss, semi-transparent glaze consisting of a rich brown base with tiny, gold metallic flecks. The variation of glaze depends on application. The thicker the application, the more homogenous the color will be. The glaze will break translucent and pool darker around surface textures.

This Large Bead Rack is designed for potters, jewelers and glass artists. It allows you to easily glaze fire beads, pendants, buttons, etc. - without the worry of them sticking to your kiln shelf. The entire rack gets placed in the kiln with your glazed pieces on it.

This rack is made from two durable cast stoneware supports with six 10" long nichrome wires. The wires rest on grooves in the rack, so they can be easily rearranged to accommodate different size pieces. The wires are heavy gauge metal and can withstand multiple firings. We recommend that if you are firing heavy items, you use shorter wires. This rack can also accommodate 6" replacement wires.

The Large Bead Rack measures approximately 6.5" in height. This item comes wrapped in bubblewrap/ no custom box.
