Cone 6 oxidation: Purple Mint is a gloss glaze that produces greens and purples, reacting strongly to surface textures. On flat, smooth surfaces lighter coats will find greens breaking through a light layer of purple. As more coats are added purple will dominate the fired finish. On textured surfaces green will almost always appear on and around incised and raised areas.

Cone 10 reduction: Color changes to a variegated blue.
