Description
Information from Stone Leaf Pottery:
One of my personal favorite clays for both beginners and experienced potters alike, we’re excited to kick off the new year with this great special. Iceman with Grog is a phenomenal mid-fire clay body, firing ivory white in oxidation. Plastic to throw with enough sediment behind it to hold up large and small pieces, as well as a great sculpting body due to its 60 mesh sand content, Iceman with Grog’s an all-around winner. Don’t let the word “grog” fool you—this clay’s easy to work with, drawing inspiration from its original form, the very plastic and fluid Iceman. If you’re looking for a cool white stoneware that is both durable and a pleasure to throw, look no further. Maturing at cone 5-6, it can also be pushed to cone 7 with slow firing. Grab a bag today!

Information from Kentucky Mudworks:
This is the same claybody as Iceman, but with 6% added grog for increased tooth. More forgiving than standard Iceman, it is a fan-favorite for larger throwing projects and hand building. Also for potters who just like a little more "structure" or texture to their throwing clays. See Iceman description below for more information.
KyMudworks' premium white stoneware. It is a pleasure to throw and durable when fired. Does not get too soupy if you throw with a lot of water. Super plastic but great for hanbuilding as well as throwing.
Fires to a very light grey/off-white. Glazes love Iceman. Excellent color response and good glaze fit with the vast majority of KY Mudworks glazes and many other commercial glaze brands.
Matures cone 6, but will have acceptable performance as low as cone 5. Can be pushed to cone 7 slow fired.
