Description
DL-33 Low Tide is a glossy iron glaze, transparent brown where thin and gray-green where thick. Great as a base coat for dramatic layering glazes or alone, highlights texture.
While measuring the specific gravity is not required to initially mix the AMACO Dipping and Layering glazes, there may be a time you need to know the recommended specific gravity for DL-33 Low Tide is 1.54.
The Dipping and Layering glazes are easy-to-use mid-range dry dipping glazes that were designed to be dipped and layered with ease. These glaze colors are inspired by popular layering colors from the Potter's Choice glaze series.

Simply add one gallon of distilled water per 1 bag of dry materials!
Each glaze bag produces roughly 1.25 gallons or at least 10 pints worth of glaze. These glazes are perfect for the studio or classroom! Easy application and faster than brushing with consistent and reliable results.
Glaze Fire To: Cone 5 = 1186°C / 2167°F * - Cone 6 = 1222°C / 2232°F
Apply to bisqueware fired to Cone 04 = 1063°C / 1945°F *
