Welcome Heather!
Say hello to our newest employee, Heather, the next time you’re in. Some of Heather’s interests are pottery and yoga and we are so thrilled to have her join our team.

Pottery Sale
The artists participating in Stone Leaf’s new gallery space will be having a Spring Sale. Join them and bring home some cool pottery you didn’t make. Sunday, May 1 from 10 to 4.

New Color for B Mix
Due to chemical color changes, all of Laguna’s B Mix bodies are a new color. The clay performs the same but the color is slightly different and may change the look of your glazes. Don't forget to test.

Product Lead Times:
For all the reasons, manufacturing leads are crazy long right now. AND when we do get product, we rarely get all of it. Please be patient with us and them. Supply shortages are rampant and bizarre - we recently had a glaze manufacturing company let us know bottles would be changing because their desired bottle size was being used in medication production and they simply cannot get the size we are accustomed to. As a rule right now, it’s about 6 months for a new kiln, 3 months for other equipment, and 6 to 8 weeks for most glazes. If you have a question, please call or email and we will do our best to find out when your product might arrive.

Free Raw Materials:
A lovely retired potter friend of ours has donated several pallets of raw materials to us that we are giving away for free. These include Spinks Clay, 200 mesh Silica, Sagar XX Ball Clay, and McNamee Kaolin. Inquire at the front desk if any of this interests you.

Electric Kiln Workshop:
The next two upcoming dates for our Electric Kiln Workshop are June 5 and July 24. Class is from 9 to 1 and is free to anyone who has purchased a kiln from us in the last 2 years OR $75 if you haven’t purchased a kiln. (One kiln = one class seat.)

EARLY CLOSURE June 9:
On Thursday, June 9, we will be closing early at 4 pm so we can attend Britt’s wedding that evening. Thanks for your well wishes to Britt and her finance’ Austin.
