Description
The Mudcutter may be the most useful tool that you didn’t know you needed. It’s a wire tool with a ridged bowed frame. This allows you to cut one handed. You can single handedly cut clay from a pug mill or extruder or cut just the right angle on spout before attaching it to the pot. It’s like an extra hand!
The Carving Bow is the little brother of the Mudcutter. It’s well suited for faceting, hand building and also handy if you work with polymer clay. The straight wire makes a clean cut when you are carving thrown objects and the curly wire creates a great texture.
Both are made with a stainless steel frame and a comfortable polymer handle. Can be strung with a straight or curly wire.
Replacement wires are available in either straight or curly designs. The Mudcutter is slightly larger than the Carving Bow, thus the wires are specific for each tool. Make sure you select the correct size!
