Join us for an exciting Mayco Try Before You Buy Workshop! This hands-on session will feature a selection of 25 different Mayco Stoneware Glazes, Engobes, and select Jungle Gems and Stroke & Coat glazes! We'll demonstrate the Peacock Glazing Technique along with many other creative glaze combinations and samples to inspire your pottery projects. And then you're free to glaze your bisque test pieces with any of the available glazes, or try some exciting combos and layering techniques!
Whether you're new to Mayco or an experienced potter, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to experiment with glazes and techniques using your own preferred clay bodies. Mayco Takes the Heat -- and now it's your turn to try it out!
Firing services (hot Cone 5) are available for an additional fee based on the weight of the items.
What To Bring:
- 2-5 bisque-fired Cone 5/6 pieces - consider bringing a variety of cylinders, flat pieces, textured or smooth to see how these glazes perform on the type of work you produce
- 5 or more brushes of various sizes
- Boxes/wrapping to take home your glazes pieces
