Our Aspen clay, as white as the Colorado winter snow, is a mid-range porcelain.This unique clay is achieved by blending high quality grollegs and kaolins to form a distinctive formula for wheel work or hand building. We have added a special additives to the formula increasing its plasticity. This smooth, rich clay fires white in reduction and oxidation kiln atmospheres making this one of the best mid fire porcelains you can find.
