We Love Colorado Public Radio

It’s often a joke among me (Sophia), my parents, Ingrid & Bob, and our store manager, Gita, that stories of our day and drive to work often start with the phrase “so, I was listening to Colorado Public Radio….”

We love listening to CPR/Colorado Public Radio and find it to be a favorite source of information about our city, state, and the world around us. From Colorado Matters to This American Life, CPR gives local to international news, hours of listening pleasure, education, and information.

That’s why at Stone Leaf Pottery, when we decided to start giving back to our community beyond the scope of the clay-related education, we choose to support Colorado Public Radio financially. CPR has created this wonderful ad for us that plays regularly on the airwaves, and it’s always fun when a student or customer remarks about hearing it.

The staff at Colorado Public Radio has sent us a copy of our audio file, and you can listen right here:

Stone Leaf Pottery has been open and operating in the Arvada area for 15.5 years. We contribute to our community with product donations of clay and glaze; we visit classrooms, offer teacher in-service days, as well as donate time and resources to the Colorado Art Education Association, where Sophia has been on the Council for over 5 years.
