Happy January!

We’ve gotten off to a busy start with clay, wheels, & kilns going to all points.  We hope the holidays were realizing for you and have left you invigorated & ready to start another year in the marvelous mud! Clay of the Month: Laguna’s Cone 10 Half & Half for only $8 per bag

Cone 10 Half & Half is a glorious blend (50/50) of stoneware & porcelain. This clay is a very throwable body, that fires light gray/white in reduction and slightly off white in oxidation. The stoneware portion of the clay has a very fine sand in it. Limit to one purchase per customer, 100# maximum.

Glaze of the Month: Spectrum’s New Midfire Celadons

Spectrum has introduced a line of celadon/transparent glazes; and it *might* be love. These dozen colors are righ and offer a full rainbow to play in. Smooth, seamy, and easy to paint on these Celadons from Spectrum are everything we want glaze to be. The colors look particularly remarkable on porcelains; we did several tests on Laguna’s Frost Porcelain to amazing results. SAVE 20% ON ALL COLORS IN THE SPECTRUM CELADON LINE IN JANUARY

Toy of the Month: the Steve Tool – ONLY $12

The adjustable Steve Tool is a great way to add texture to your pots, with this adjustable segmented tool. Create unique looks for each pot you texturize.

February Workshops

Ingrid will be teaching 3 workshops in February – more info to be posted soon online and in our February newsletter.

Ceraline Crayons – Saturday, February 15. Earthenware in the morning, midfire in the afternoon. Ceralines are a wax & pigment crayon product, and Ingrid is IN LOVE.
