February Newsletter

Hello! It’s April and I am taking over the newsletter from Gita. I’m so excited to have this chance to talk to all of our wonderful customers!

February is starting and the first thing that comes to mind is Valentine’s Day. At Stone Leaf we love our customers so wesat down and made a list of the clay, glaze, and tools we think you bring a touch of romance to your studio spaces. We encourage you to spend a little extra time with the love of your life (pottery) this month. Nothing makes a potter happier than spending time in the studio!

Odds & Ends Clay Sale

With the start of the new year, Ripley and Amber have done some serious organizing of the clay warehouse, and have unearthed some clay mysteries. Our goal this year is to organize, clean, and purge as needed in preparation for our move. (I swear, we are making progress on our building renovation – FINALLY – after so many unexpected delays.) November Product Specials

Wow! It’s already November and I can’t believe this year is flying by so quickly. End of the year means get togethers and delicious dinners with friends and family as we hunker down for the coming cold months. What do you have planned for your holiday season? As November starts, we are packing up everything to haul up the mountain for the Colorado Art Education Association conference happening November 8-10. We are so excited to catch up with all of our art educator friends in Breckenridge!

Electric Kiln Workshop: August 2018

Pottery kilns never seem very scary, until you’re staring down the face of one in your home studio. Many “what if” and “how do I” coupled with “oh no!!” moments can happen with our first electric pottery kilns.

Stone Leaf is here for you! We’re back this June 24 with our half day Electric Kiln Workshop, a class to help all potters learn how to fire an electric pottery kiln. We’ll answer the basics and more detailed questions so you leave Stone Leaf more prepared.
