Bye for Now from Mae

Hello, Stone Leaf Pottery customers, patrons, and friends!

Mae, here. I am writing this short post, with conflicted feelings, to inform you of my departure as a staff member at Stone Leaf Pottery. I have so enjoyed the last three years working at Stone Leaf! I feel thankful for all of the people that I’ve gotten to know along the way, and for all of the things I have learned.

I am grateful to Ingrid, Sophia and Bob for having so much confidence in me, and for allowing me the chance to keep working in the ceramic industry right after graduation. I feel lucky to have found a job in my field of study, and to have become part of such a well established community!

My time at Stone Leaf has certainly allowed me to continue my education, and has also given me time to consider what next steps to take in my art career. In leaving the team at Stone Leaf Pottery, my aim is to devote my time to making pottery of my own and growing my line of handmade ceramic home goods. This means that while you may no longer see me behind the checkout counter at Stone Leaf, we will likely still run in to each other as fellow customers!

I am honored to have worked alongside such knowledgable and talented coworkers, and know that I leave you in good hands with them. As a young artist taking a big leap, I welcome any advice and expertise you may have for me. I have included my contact information below in hopes that anyone who feels compelled to keep in touch or follow the progress of my next steps may do so.

Happy potting!

Best,

Mae
