Electric Kiln Workshops: Winter 2018

We know that purchasing an electric pottery kiln can lead to a lot of questions of about “how to” and “what if”. And “oh no!”

That’s why Stone Leaf Pottery will be teaching a half day class to help potters learn how to fire an electric pottery kiln. The class for Winter 2018 will on Sunday, February 18 and March 25.

Bring your coffee and let’s talk kilns, with Ingrid King, Stone Leaf Pottery’s Studio Manager. In this very informal gathering, Ingrid will answer questions about electric kiln firing, glaze schedules, kiln set up, programing and answer participant questions. If time allows, a tour of Stone Leaf’s firing area and refractory storage will be included.

New ConeArt Peep Covers

As you may have read, we love our ConeArt Kiln here at Stone Leaf Pottery.  As Colorado’s longest operating clay supplier and selling pottery kilns in Denver, we like to have one of everything we sell.

Right around 2 weeks after our ConeArt kiln arrived last winter, Mum came to me with a serious “problem” with the kiln: the peep hole plugs were boring.
