April showers bring May flowers, and at Stone Leaf, we’re showering you this month with a variety of raku related items for your upcoming firings.
Hello Stone Leaf Pottery patrons, and welcome to September! Or should I say, SET-ember? This month, we are feeling extra inspired by some of our favorite products, so we’ve decided to bring in sets of them for our specials this month. We want to ensure that you have everything you need to get “set” up to use these products in your studio or classroom, and are looking forward to seeing all of the things that you make with them!
It’s back to school season! At Stone Leaf we have all your back to school needs covered – with glaze from Amaco, Laguna, Mayco and more to clays from Laguna Clay and Rocky Mountain Clay. We are sure our helpful and friendly staff can get your teaching studio in ship shape for the upcoming year.
I am excited to let you know that Stone Leaf Pottery is now carrying GR Pottery Forms! Like many of you, we saw them in Kansas City at NCECA, and our minds immediately came up with 57 projects we could use them for in our studio. Sophia grabbed a few to play with in her home studio…. and now we have a full shelf of them for YOU.
Stone Leaf Pottery starts planning for back to school around the 4th of July, looking towards both our supply and staffing needs to make the start of the school year go well for everyone.
How can we help you make back to school awesome?
When choosing a clay body to purchase from Stone Leaf, if you ask us for help, we are *always* going to suggest to you that you give Laguna’s WC 422, Whitestone, a try. (If you are shopping for a Cone 5/6 clay.) This creamy white clay body is about 60% stoneware and about 40% porcelain, and is for us, the most perfect clay.
How do you Stone Leaf? Are you a “come in and wander” potter, touching and investigating all the things? Or are you decisive in your needs, calling in or emailing your order to us for a quick stop in to pick up your order?
